Caramel Apple Cake

Cake with apple in it, spilled with caramel when finished. The concept is simple but it can produce a five-star quality cake. Let's try it yourself in your kitchen. Watch the video on how to make it below.

FYI: The English word comes from French caramel, borrowed from Spanish caramelo (18th century), itself possibly from Portuguese caramel. Most likely that comes from Late Latin calamellus 'sugar cane', a diminutive of calamus 'reed, cane', itself from Greek κάλαμος (from Wikipedia).
