Pork Chili Verde



This is the recipe that makes everyone believe in the magic of slow cookers. It just gets better as it sits, so yes, you can make it in advance — not while you're running around in the morning. Try this at home, watch the instruction video below.

FYI: Walk into almost any taqueria in this country and you will find chile verde on the menu. The chile will likely be made with chunks of pork shoulder, slow cooked in a green chile sauce of jalapeño chiles, garlic, and tomatillos (from simplyrecipes.com).
