Christmas Trifle



If this doesn’t get you in the mood for Christmas, I give up! My big tip - skip the flavored aeroplane jelly. Use the flavourless one instead (ie “Create Your Own” Aeroplane Jelly) and add cranberry juice, and you’ve got a real cranberry flavoured jelly instead of one that tastes like bubble gum!! FYI: Trifle in English cuisine is a dessert made with fruit, a thin layer of sponge fingers soaked in sherry or another fortified wine, and custard. It can be topped with whipped cream (Wikipedia).
